Meet the Pros

Jim Fatsi, PGA 
Head Golf Professional

Jim is a certified member of the PGA in Teaching and Coaching since 2013, and in 2009, Jim was named by Golf Digest as one of the “Best Teachers in the State of Connecticut.” He is proud to lead the Golf Program at Brooklawn and has held previous positions at the Country Club of Fairfield; Boca Grove in Boca Raton, Florida; Sailfish Point in Stuart, Florida; and The Golf Club of Purchase in New York. A Fairfield native, Jim got his start in golf while caddying at Brooklawn. He keeps an active teaching and playing schedule while assisting in the management of the golf operation. Whether on the practice tee, on the course, or in the Golf Shop, Jim truly enjoys interacting and spending time with the membership of Brooklawn.

V-1 Pro is the leading choice of instructors and training facilities worldwide for capturing, comparing, and improving the performance of their students. Brooklawn Country Club is proud to offer a very active instructional and tournament schedule for golfers, from beginner to advanced. There are many playing opportunities for men, women, and juniors, so if you are looking for a game, Jim or any of his Assistant Golf Professionals will be happy to arrange one for you. And in the recently renovated Golf Shop, members can find current styles and leading edge technology to round out their golf experience.

Megin O'Donnell-Kelly, LPGA 
Assistant Golf Professional

Megin is a Class A Member of the LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Division and is also a Callaway Golf staff member. Megin is in her sixteenth season as a Teaching Professional at Brooklawn Country Club. In the July 2007 edition of Golf Digest magazine, Meg was rated the 15th best instructor in Connecticut for 2007-2008. Her specialty is in golf instruction for junior and beginner golfers. She is also an instructor with The Jane Blalock Company/LPGA Golf Clinics for Women. A 1995 graduate of Stetson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, Megin was a four-year member of the “Lady Hatters” Division I women’s golf team. A native of Connecticut, she now resides in the greater New Haven area with her husband and children.

Tony Frabizzio, PGA
Assistant Golf Professional

Entering his fifth season at Brooklawn, Tony is an integral part of the golf operation. Tony has been a Class A PGA Professional since 2005. While spending his entire professional career at Metropolitan Section clubs, he embraces off-season travel both as a competitor and instructor. Tony is a PGA Tour instructor and currently coaches players at the highest Professional and Collegiate level. Utilizing his expertise with Trackman, Blast Motion, Titleist Performance Institute, Mitchell Golf and U.S. Kids Golf, Tony continues to provide a wealth of instructional and club-fitting knowledge to his students at Brooklawn. 

Jake Rotherham
Assistant Golf Professional

Jake is entering his fifth season as an Assistant Professional at Brooklawn, and is currently a Level 3 PGA Apprentice pursuing his Class A certification. Jake was born and raised near Allentown, Pennsylvania and grew up playing and working at courses in the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia area. After attending Susquehanna University, Jake worked for 3 years as an I.T Recruiter in Paoli, Pennsylvania. Jake moved to Connecticut in 2010, and in 2012 he entered the PGA Professional Golf Management Program.
