Caddie Scholarships

Brooklawn Caddies,

As you know, we offer the Brooklawn Caddie Scholarship every year to our best caddies who are going on to continue their education after high school. These scholarships can be as high as $5,000.

They are available to graduating high school seniors and young adults planning to attend and be a full-time student at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university, vocational school, trade school, technical school or certificate program. This scholarship cannot be used for online courses or online degree/certificate programs. Part-time students are not eligible for this scholarship and should not apply. Applicants who have previously been awarded this scholarship are eligible to re-apply.

Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 in order to apply and must have caddied successfully and regularly for at least 1 year. If you, or a family member, is a member of Brooklawn Country Club, you are not eligible to apply. Please see the instructions below.

A complete application must be received by August 7, 2021.

Step 2: Click the button to
Create New Account” if this is your first time applying. If you applied in previous years, you can use your email address and password to access your existing account. You can reset your password through the site if you can’t remember it.


Step 3: After
signing in, type Brooklawn into the access code box in the upper right corner of the screen, then click on the Enter Code button. If you don’t see the access code box in the upper right corner, please click on “Apply” at the top of the screen.


Step 4: Click on the blue Apply button
. The application deadline August 7, 2021.

As a high school student and Brooklawn caddie or golf staff employee, you are eligible for several other scholarship opportunities. Scholarships for these programs are generally granted based on financial need, academic performance, character/citizenship, participation as a caddie and/or golf staff employee and are usually renewable for four total years of undergraduate study. 
Applications for Westchester Golf Association, William (Widdy) Neal and Evans Scholarship must be approved and endorsed by the Caddie Chair before submission.

Westchester Golf Association Caddie Scholarships - Applications were due May 15, 2021.

The William (Widdy) Neal Scholarship Fund - Applications were due January 31, 2021.

Western Golf Association/ Evans Scholar Foundation - Applications must be submitted by October 30, 2021. Caddies should apply the summer before their Senior year in high school.
